Job Description

Summary:

The overall focus is to support the company’s aggressive growth strategy by building the company’s sales force, developing the company’s sales channels and closing key transactions primarily in Beirut Metropolitan area. Your responsibility lies in the development of sales and margins to meet the company’s sales objectives while complying to the company’s ethics and business processes.

 

Job Description:

1) Identifying and Closing Key accounts

  • Cold call or Identify leads from the pipeline that are of strategic importance and require your personal follow up.
  • Organize meetings and close key-transactions while coaching other sales executives.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
  • Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately based on the customer’s profile.
  • Collaborate with other departments and management to constantly improve performance.
  • Keep a constant communication with management and other department about key accounts transactions that might take other resources to be closed.
  • Communicate with other department any suggestion that may increase the company’s competitively profitability and image.

2) Building, developing and growing the Sales Force

  • Meet and hire internal and external sales reps to form the company’s sales force for the area of Beirut Metropolitan.
  • Plan and update approaches, pitches, presentations and follow-ups that are to be used by sales-reps in a manner to optimize the ratio of closed transactions.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and update proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives within the company’s profitability guidelines.
  • Constantly provide business development training and mentoring to reps and other internal staff to improve individual performance.
  • Ensure all sales reps represent the company in line with the company’s strategy, values and under-promise / over-deliver” strategy.
  • Participate in the creation and management of a sales monitoring tool to manage the pipeline of leads and the performance of each sales rep.
  • Suggest promptly firing action of all sales reps that are not performing and are unable to improve.

3) Building, developing and growing the sales channels

  • Create and develop sales channels (Business to Business) in collaboration with management
  • Hire & Manage internal and external sales reps to form the company’s sales force for each sales channel.

 

4) Sales Management

  • Work with the engineering team to develop and update proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives within the company’s profitability guidelines.
  • Participate in pricing the solutions/services.
  • Handle sales conflicts, customer objections, and any client related problem by clarifying, negotiating and liaising between the customer and the different department within the company to reach agreeable solutions.
  • Work with the engineering team to develop and update proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives within the company’s profitability guidelines.
  • Regularly meet with the marketing department to synchronize efforts

 

4) Client Retention and After Sales Services

  • Meet and Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers
  • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
  • Build and monitor the sales team that will handle the sales of after sales contracts

 

5) Management and Research

  • Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.
  • Ensure that new customer data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

 

WORKING MANDATORY Conditions:

  • Constantly own an up-to-date smart mobile phone to be used as a mandatory work tool.
  • Constantly own an up-to-date laptop with the required office software as a mandatory tool for business.
  • Constantly own a car to be used to go to meetings with customers.
  • Constantly own and maintain professional clothing in compliance with the company dress code applicable for the sales Department as updated from time to time.

 

Reporting Line: This position reports to the General Manager.

 

Minimum Qualifications required for applying:

  1. Qualified Graduate Engineer- Electrical or equivalent and 7-10 years of sales experience.
  2. He must have 5-7 years’ experience in the Lebanese Market.
  3. Successful candidates must be flexible, pro-active, and willing to dedicate necessary efforts to meet sales objectives.
  4. Strong prioritization and time management skills
  5. Strong verbal and written English/Arabic communication skills (French is a plus).
  6. Professional attitude and good inter-personal capabilities.
