An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the new Beirut based team of a fast growing fintech company: HedgeGuard, software and platform of services to the investment management sector. HedgeGuard offers a unique approach to the challenges of investment managers though a suite of solutions and tools which include portfolio management, order management, risk, reporting, as well as performance and attribution reporting & middle office outsourcing service. You will be part of the R&D team focusing on Hedge Funds, Asset Managers and Family Offices.  Position Overview HedgeGuard provides an industry leading portfolio management software and a set of services for the full automation of the middle office outsourcing. Those solutions require a high level of investment in development. Our R&D team is comprised of experienced architects / developers who work on the full stack of the software and the services. In this context, HedgeGuard is seeking highly motivated Infrastructure engineers who will: Maintain our development / production environments Apply best practices in network and security infrastructures Manage development / production SQL Database Administration This position is based in Beirut with potential visits to our headquarters in Paris. Skills required Relevant University Degree – Bsc or Msc 2 to 5 years of experience in Network Maintenance, Window/Linux Operating Systems and Database Administration Highly motivated, meticulous and hardworking. Fluent in English, French is a plus. Job Responsibilities Installation and Maintenance of Operating Systems Establishment and Maintenance of Network / VPN / VM Infrastructure Administration and Evaluation of Database Systems Providing IT Support and Quick and Effective Response to environment issues This position would suit an individual with an entrepreneurial mind-set. In this context, HedgeGuard is seeking highly motivated devops engineers who will: Improve our integration services Provide technical support for production issues Build a monitoring platform to help our Middle-Office team This position is based in Beirut with potential visits to our headquarters in Paris. Skills required Relevant University Degree – Bsc or Msc 1 to 3 years of experience in development in .NET, C#, SQL, REST/SOAP APIs Highly motivated, meticulous and hardworking. Fluent in English, French is a plus. Job Responsibilities Implementation of client-requested integrations / customizations Providing Level 2 Technical Support to Production Deployments Performing root cause analysis for production issues Building tools to reduce occurrence of errors and improve customer/middle-office experience Designing / implementing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance Liaising with Software Development team on design, architecture, and code maintainability Deployment of updates and bug fixes This position would suit an individual with an entrepreneurial mind-set.
